Three people were taken to local hospitals after what authorities say was a gang-related fight in Sparks. Police say a fight involving at least three people happened in a parking lot. That lot is off Sparks Boulevard near the baseball diamond behind Reed High School.
SPD says a man sustained multiple stab wounds to the upper body and a head injury, another person suffered a broken arm and a third had an injury believed to be caused by a baseball bat. A rock may have also been involved in the incident.
While three were taken to local hospitals, none of the injuries are described as life-threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the fight is asked to call Sparks Police.
