A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of mail tampering after police said they found 112 pieces of mail belonging to 31 victims in a car.
Jerry Neal, 37, and Tamara Tracy, 24, were booked on various charges, including possession of stolen property, police said Saturday.
Neal was stopped after he ran a traffic light in downtown Reno.
Police said a search of his vehicle netted two large plastic bags containing mail that will be returned to the postmaster for delivery.
Police said the search also turned up nine suspected stolen checks and several pieces of identification.
