Another football player has been cut from the University of Reno, Reno team following his arrest on felony robbery charges.
Rodney Landingham, a transfer player from Oregon State, was arrested Thursday, just minutes after a holdup of the Wells Fargo Bank on California Avenue, police said.
Authorities said Landingham, 21, later admitted to previous robberies at another bank and two convenience stores.
Landingham never played for the Wolf Pack. He transferred to Nevada last year after playing the 2002 season at Oregon State and was forced to sit out last season under NCAA transfer rules.
In December, UNR coach Chris Ault implemented a new team policy, under which any player accused of a felony is immediately cut from the team.
Two other players were dismissed last week.
Junior defensive end Brenton Kendrick and sophomore cornerback Steven Murphy were cut after they were arrested on multiple drug charges during an undercover sting.
