Residents in the Stead area faced mandatory water conservation restrictions for a second straight day Sunday because of a break in the area's main water line.
Truckee Meadows Water Authority officials said outside watering would not be allowed until repairs can be completed to the line.
They said crews have located the source of the leak and are trying to complete repairs as soon as possible.
The leak is 30 feet underground near U.S. 395 about 10 miles north of downtown Reno.
Officials have said no major problems should occur as long as residents conserve and use water only inside homes and businesses.
