The economy is taking another victim. According to employees, Reno-based GemsTV is shutting down within the next two months.
The Business Times is reporting that GemsTV will shut down its US operations and will buy a minority stake Multimedia Commerce Group Inc, which operates "Jewelry Television."
GemsTV has been in operation in Reno for over 3 years and can be seen on DirectTV and Dish Network.
