FALLON, Nev. (AP) - Officials say Churchill County residents will have several chances this week to share their opinions about the community, its challenges and future projects.
A series of Community Needs Assessment listening sessions continues Tuesday with conferences scheduled for students at Churchill County High School.
More sessions are set Tuesday at the county fairgrounds for persons with disabilities and educators, and at business and agricultural extension offices.
Sessions Monday were at Naval Air Station Fallon and at Western Nevada College.
Wednesday meetings are set for businesses at the fairgrounds and for seniors at the Churchill County Senior Center.
Churchill County planning chief Eleanor Lockwood says the idea is to identify central themes for updating the county's master plan.
