RENO, Nev.— The Reno Bighorns return to the Biggest Little City Tuesday and Wednesday for a pair of games against the Idaho Stampede, featuring the annual School House Jam event Tuesday at 11 a.m. and Reno Rodeo Night on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Tuesday's School House Jam event gives local children a chance to meet Bighorns players, learn about the game and watch the Bighorns take on the Idaho Stampede at 11 a.m.
After meeting former University of Nevada and Harlem Globetrotter great Eathan O'Bryant, the children will engage in a question and answer session with a Bighorns player. Additionally, head coach Jay Humphries will talk to the kids about the importance of staying fit, staying in school and getting a good education.
Tuesday morning's contest also features this season's first and only Businessperson's Special, with the Bighorns offering a ticket to the game, a hot dog, a bag of chips and a drink for only $11.
Wednesday's game is Reno Rodeo Night, with a portion of the proceeds from select tickets going to the Reno Rodeo Foundation. The rodeo-themed evening will be highlighted by the Bighorns dance team donning cowgirl uniforms and entertaining fans with special in-game dance routines.
Single-game tickets for both games start at just $7 per ticket, with group rates starting at $6 per ticket.
Also, special mini-plans are available for the second half of the Bighorns season. Call (775) 284-2622 or visit www.RenoBighorns.com for more information.
