There are new security measures in place this morning at Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
The restrictions, implemented by the Transportation Security Administration and airport officials, are in response to the terrorists plots in London and Glasgow, Scotland.
Officials say people should be aware of random searches of vehicles coming and going at the airport.
Also, parking at the outer curb between the parking garage and baggage claim is prohibited.
But to help people picking up travelers, the airport has designated a cell phone waiting lot, located just inside the airport entrance. People can wait for travelers there, and meet them out front when the passenger calls.
Passengers, however, are reminded not to make the call until they've claimed all their baggage and are ready to go.
