Donations Pour in for Tahoe Disaster Victims

An organizer of "Together for Tahoe" says about $200,000 has been raised for disaster relief at Lake Tahoe.

On Wednesday people dropped off money for the Red Cross and other donations in the Atlantis hotel parking lot.

Nine Fed-Ex trucks were used to store items donated, and an organizer says all were nearly filled.

People donated: pet food, bottled water, diapers, blankets, furniture, mattresses, board games and many other items.

Corporate donations included: $10,000 from the Atlantis, $20,000 from Sierra Pacific, and $50,000 from Wells Fargo.
