Three more casino bartenders are facing charges for violating underage drinking laws during an alcohol compliance check on Saturday.

Reno Police say they enlisted the help of some underage volunteers who went into local casinos and tried to buy alcohol. 11 casinos were checked and 3 casino bartenders were cited for breaking the law.

Bartenders at the Sands Regency, the Silver Legacy, and the Eldorado were all cited.

Just one day before, another alcohol compliance check found bartenders at Circus Circus and the Atlantis Casino in violation of underage drinking laws.

Reno Police say these kinds of checks will continue.

The compliance checks are funded by two local groups; Join Together Northern Nevada (JTNN) and Enforcement of Underage Drinking Laws (E.U.D.L.)

I understand the importance of this but again..cops will catch those that they can when they set traps...like speeders at the bottom of a hill...Now that is excellent work! The real challenge is catching the criminals that are causing real problems. How many are involved during one shift for this? 4-5 cops?

Why don't you move away if you don't like it.

It's a good thing were taking these dangerous criminals off the streets. And our tax dollars are being used to locate these degenerates who are putting our kids in jeopardy. I for one will sleep better at night knowing that these bartenders are now out of work not paying taxes and wating for their first unemployment check. Way to go R.P.D. Keep up the good work!!!
