No structures have been reported damaged and there are no evacuations in effect.
Agencies have formed a Unified Command, including City of Reno, Sierra Fire Protection District, US Forestry Service, Nevada Division of Forestry, with Washoe County Sheriff’s Office performing the law enforcement work associated with the fire.
The origin of the fire is now under investigation. The first call to dispatch on this fire came at 10:46 a.m. Saturday.
