RENO, NV - All roads are back open after snow from a quick storm froze and led to extremely icy conditions. Several major arteries were closed for much of Tuesday evening because of spinouts and fender benders.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says they investigated, responded to, or assisted with a total of 26 accidents in the Reno-Sparks-Carson City area. There was only one crash that had injuries. Most of the crashes were on US 395 between Golden Valley and Damonte Ranch exits.

Many roads were still very icy, and police agencies are urging people to stay off the roads, but drive slowly and carefully if they are driving.
