Man Killed in Reno, Police Search for Two Persons of Interest

Reno Police are looking for two people who they say, were involved in a fight that led to a 63-year-old Reno man’s death on Saturday night.

Officers responded to a report of a fight and an injured man on Carlin Street, just before 11:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man dead inside his apartment. Through witness interviews and additional investigation, detectives determined the victim and 50-year-old Robert Schields of Reno got into a fight at the apartment, and the victim suffered fatal injuries.

Detectives are looking for 50-year-old Robert Schields, a white man about 5’9”, 180 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. They say he recently shaved off his mustache and beard.

They’re also looking for Dori Michael of Reno, a white woman about 5’7”, 140 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. They say Ms. Michael was present during the argument.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin, and there is no word yet as to the injuries that led to his death.
