Reno is among the nation's best places to live, according to a national magazine.
In its June edition, the Men's Journal ranked Reno eighth as best small city to live with 255 days of sunshine a year and plenty of outdoor recreation.
The rankings were based on 37 factors, including cost of living, air and water quality, and the amount of nearby wilderness land. Rankings were made for big cities, small cities and small towns.
"This is the second straight year the area has been ranked by Men's Journal, which further supports the Reno-Tahoe `America's Adventure Place' marketing campaign," said Jeff Beckleman, president and CEO of the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority.
The ranking comes just after Forbes Magazine named the Reno area the 25th best place to do business in the country.
In March, Inc. Magazine ranked Reno sixth out of 89 mid-sized cities across the country for doing business.
