Reno Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

An 43-year-old Reno man was killed in a Memorial Day accident when his motorcycle collided with a sports utility vehicle on Pyramid Highway.

The Nevada Highway Patrol identified the victim today as Robert
Edward Masters.

Investigators say the SUV towing a boat drifted off the road, overcorrected and swerved in front of his motorcycle yesterday.

The patrol says the driver of the S-U-V was 18-year-old Cory Francis Hanson. He and his 16-year-old brother Steven Matthew Hanson were wearing seatbelts and were not injured.

No charges have been filed but the case remains under investigation. Investigators say neither alcohol nor drugs are considered to be a contributing factor in the crash.
