A Reno mother was arrested for child endangerment and abuse charges for allegedly offering her 12-year-old daughter as a prostitute, police said.
Elizabeth Bogard, 49, was arrested Sunday at a motel on North Arlington Street.
A man in the room, Sean Channey, 37, also was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender and drug offenses, police said.
According to police, Bogard initially lied to officers about her name while they were investigating possible child endangerment.
During their investigation, officers learned that Bogard was having her daughter act as a prostitute and "trick roll" customers.
Bogard was booked on child endangerment and four counts each of child abuse and pandering, police said.
The girl was placed in protective custody.
