A new juvenile justice facility opened today in North Reno.
The Jan Evans Juvenile Justice Center has 108 beds, courtroom, classrooms and recreation facilities.
The 25-million dollar facility is located next to the Washoe County Jail.
It's named after the late Nevada Assemblywoman Jan Evans who was an advocate for children.
Evans helped secure a three-million dollar state grant to fund the center. A new juvenile justice facility opened today in North Reno.
