Recently KOLO 8 reported about a little boy who is gravely ill and in need of a kidney transplant.
Cesar Hernandez is unable to get the care he need because his family cannot afford to pay for the operation.
On Saturday, several Nevadans showed their charitable soles, or souls, by hitting the pavement in the Capital City.
They were walking in Carson City to raise money for this young man. Unfortunately Cesar could not be at the event. His health had deteriorated significantly and he had to be transported to Sacramento.
But participants of Saturday's event are hoping that his health will improve, and the funds that they have generated will make a difference towards getting Cesar the help he needs.
If you would like to help Cesar and his family, you may make a donation at any Wells Fargo Branch. Just walk in and ask for a Branch Manager.
