Reno Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Hollywood Video Store Saturday afternoon, and attempting to rob a Money Tree Loan Center shortly before.
Both businesses are located on Kietzkie Lane. Police say the first robbery at the loan center happened just before noon, when a suspect entered Money Tree and threatened the teller with a note, reading that he had a gun. The teller did not give the suspect any money, so he ran from the store.
As police responded to that scene, they received another call from Hollywood Video with similar circumstances. In that case, the robber did get an undisclosed amount of case.
Police say the suspect is a white man around 30 years old, at least five foot nine inches tall, and weighs between 170 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan, military-style hat, sunglasses, a teal shirt, and grey pants.
Please contact the Reno Police Department if you have any information regarding these two incidents.
