While Southern California is dealing with an early start to fire season, firefighters here in Reno got a small taste of what may come this season with a small brush fire above Caughlin Ranch.
This fire started above Pinehaven Court about 11 this morning.
A team effort from Reno, Nevada Division of Forestry and U-S Forest Service firefighters knocked the blaze down before it could spread up to the heavier timber.
The fire burned about three-quarters of an acre.
The exact cause is still under investigation
