Reno Police Seek Suspects in DVD Thefts

Reno police are seeking two young men who stole more than 3,200 dollars worth of DVD movies from two Scolari's stores.

Police say the first theft occurred April 29th at a Scolari's on South McCarran Boulevard. The second was on May 7th at the Scolari's on Sharlands Avenue.

In both instances, police says one of the suspects acted as a lookout while the other went behind a counter and grabbed a bunch of DVDs.

They put them in a hand-carry grocery basket and walked out of the store when no one was looking.

The suspects, who were captured on security surveillance cameras, are described as white in their late teens or early 20s with dark hair and medium builds.
