VIRGINIA CITY (AP) - The developer of a major Reno subdivision now has his sight set on neighboring Storey County.

Somersett managing partner Blake Smith says he's planning an 8,600 acre mixed-use development next to the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center.

Before he can build, Smith must secure a zoning change from the county. His proposed Cordevista Development, which could feature as many as 15,000 homes, will go before the county planning commission on Thursday.
