We've already had a taste of the wildfire season that's to come during the summer months. And now local, state and federal agencies are gearing up for what's expected to be a busy season...given the drier-than-normal conditions in Nevada.
Tuesday night, Reno Firefighters began a month-long series of wildland training exercises. And the US Bureau of Land Management will hold a meeting on May 8th in Elko...in an effort to assess the fire risk in areas surrounding Elko County.
