RENO, NV - If you're at high risk for the H1N1 virus, you'll be able to get vaccinated at your nearby pharmacy this weekend.
The Nevada State Health Division has ordered five-hundred doses of the shot-version of the vaccine for three pharmacies - The Walgreen’s on Oddie Boulevard, the Walgreen’s on North Virginia Street and the Village Pharmacy in Incline Village.
The pharmacies will get these vaccines either on Friday or Saturday. You will be charged a maximum administrative fee of $21.34 cents.
Again, these vaccines are for high-risk people only, like pregnant women, people with underlying medical conditions or anyone between the ages of 6 months to 24-years-old.
The state is ordering more vaccines on a weekly basis to distribute to local pharmacies.

Its nice that pharmacies in the area are getting the H1N1 vaccine whereas I'm a local physician and the state health dept won't distribute the vaccine to us or other physicians to give to our high risk patients. By the time they do this wave of H1N1 outbreak will be over.
