7-11 Stores Donate to Renown

7-11 store owners in Northern Nevada got together to donate money to Renown. They presented Renown officials with a $12,000 check for the Breast Cancer Assistance Program.

"It's going to help patients going through treatment and it's going to help with transportation costs and medication co-pays," says Bobbi Gillis, a nurse navigator at Renown. "It will also help our patients with emergency biopsies. We are just so appreciative and thrilled!"

The money comes from a fundraising drive held in October at Northern Nevada 7-11 stores.

"We thank the customers very much," says Roy Brennan, the owner of the 7-11 store near Victorian Square in Sparks. "They were the large portion of this. And it was a very successful, well-received drive."
