Washington, DC - A scare at the office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has been linked to a former surgeon general.
The office in Washington, DC was cordoned off when a suspicious letter was delivered to the office Wednesday. It turns out that letter was written by C. Everett Koop, who served under President Reagan.
The letter included comments about health care reform.
It raised suspicions when it was delivered by hand, instead of through the mail. The senator from Nevada was not in his office when the envelope was delivered.
