Three Die in Weekend Accident in Nevada

Three people died and one suffered serious injuries in a weekend highway crash in eastern Nevada.

William Juchem, 79 and Garnet Juchem, 76, of Sun Valley, Idaho, were heading north on U.S. 93 when their Chevrolet Tahoe drifted off the road Saturday afternoon, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.

Authorities said William Juchem was driving and apparently overcorrected, sending the vehicle went into a broadside skid.

Arnold Steiner, 70, and his 67-year-old wife, Amy, of Nelson, British Columbia, were southbound and unable to avoid the collision 44 miles north of Pioche, the patrol said.

The Juchems and Arnold Steiner died in the crash. Amy Steiner was taken to the University Medical Center trauma center in Las Vegas with severe injuries, the patrol said.
