The Reno Fire Department now says destruction left by last weekend's wildfire in the Northwest part of town will likely be around half a million dollars -- That's just damage to homes and other structures.
RFD is also estimating the cost of fighting the blaze at close to $100,000.
Officials say a 14-year-old boy confessed to starting the wildfire.
If found responsible, the District Attorney's Office says the juvenile and even his parents may have to pay restitution.
