Northern Nevadans are basking in sunshine and warm temperatures. Record highs fell across Nevada Monday, including one that stood for more than a century in Reno where the mercury topped out at 80 degrees. A year ago on the same date, the high in Reno was 34 degrees and it was snowing.
The National Weather Service says the unseasonably warm weather in the upper 70s is expected to continue for at least another day or so
across the Silver State.
