LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada development authorities are continuing a
campaign to lure biotechnology companies from the East Coast.
Executives of the Nevada Development Authority last week began a
second series of full-page advertisements in a dozen East Coast
The ad campaign was a response to New Jersey development
officials who've been distributing "Just say no to Nevada" bumper
stickers to companies.
Economic-development agencies in other states also are chasing a
share of New Jersey's biotech sector, but Garden State officials
say they've focused on Nevada because it's been the most
Nevada's new ads feature a list of Nevada selling points that --
quote -- "the New Jersey Business Development Centers don't want
you to know."
