The creator of the long-runningtelevision series "Bonanza" says he's saddened by a plan to sell a western theme amusement park at Lake Tahoe that was inspired bythe show.
David Dortort says he opposes the sale of the Ponderosa
Ranch to developers and he hopes the Incline Village park can be
restored. Last month, park owners announced they're considering a
plan to sell the 548-acre property to the government and turn it
into a regional park. If that fails, they say the site could be
sold for development.
