The Washoe County School District's annual campaign
to get students to turn off their television sets is under way.
The district launched its fourth annual T-V Turn-off Expo over the
weekend at Shoppers Square in Reno, where the county's Mobile
Library was on hand.
The elementary school class logging the most
minutes reading will win a free lunch from Port of Subs. And the
family who reads the most will win a 50 dollar gift certificate.
The campaign runs through Friday.
