A Washoe County sheriff's deputy has been arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
David Clearwater was arrested early Saturday morning after a citizen reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the Wayside bar in Lemmon Valley, a sheriff's news release said.
Upon arrival, deputies found the vehicle and Clearwater, who's assigned to the detective division.
The sheriff's department requested that Reno police respond and conduct the investigation.
