The state's jobless rate dropped to four-point-five percent during January, although the number of out-of-work Nevadans increased by about 7,500 to 59,300 and total jobs in all industries slipped to just under 1.1 million.
The state Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation say several hiring areas showed declines.
