RENO (AP) - Southwest Airlines will launch two new daily,
nonstop flights between San Diego and Reno beginning March 11th.
One of the new flights leaves San Diego at 9:30 a-m and arrives
in Reno at 11:10 a-m. The other flight leaves San Diego at 6:55 p-m
and arrives in Reno at 8:30 p-m.
Tourism officials say the new flights will make it easier for
San Diego-area residents to get to and from Lake Tahoe ski resorts.
Andy Chapman of the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association says San
Diego had been one of Southwest Airline's most underserved markets
for the Lake Tahoe area.
One-way fares begin as low as 67 dollars.
