Pack Tickets

Saturday's wolf pack rounds off it's regular season. Thousands of people are saying "Go Pack" but some of this season's games have had hundreds of empty seats.

"I think it's unrealistic to expect that season ticket holders will use their ticket for every game. You know things happen," says UNR Associate Athletics Director Keith Hackett.

Scruples Bar and Grill in Reno gives away tickets for each game, but the demand is so high that they don't have enough to go around even with empty seats in the stands.

"We have to give out raffle tickets because we have more people that we have tickets it's just a great avenue if people are not going to use their tickets we have people that could use them. it's fills up the seats and it's good for the team, says bar owner Rollin Lazzorone.

The university is also stepping up to get a white out crowd during each game

"We are working one a program where season ticket holders will get the opportunity for others to purchase on an online setting, to allow others to see how exciting Wolf Pack basket ball is," said Hackett.

That program will start next season, but until then fans will keep rooting on the pack with or without a ticket.

If you can't make it to Saturday's game it will also be broadcast at on ESPN 2. Game time is 7:05
