Law enforcement authorities were searching Sunday for two inmates who walked away from separate northern Nevada conservation camps over the weekend.

Prison officials said Jacob Swift was discovered missing Saturday night from the Stewart Conservation Camp in Carson City, where he was serving a three- to 10-year sentence for a Washoe County robbery.

Michael Bills, 27, turned up missing later Saturday night from the Carlin Conservation Camp near Carlin, where he was serving a one- to six-year sentence for possession of a stolen vehicle in Washoe County.

Both inmates were believed to be on foot and were being searched by corrections officials and sheriff's deputies.

Both camps are minimum-security facilities.
