The opening of a new Sports Bar is being celebrated with death-defying stunts.
The opening of the Extreme Sports Bar inside the Grand Sierra Resort was kicked-off with an extreme sports motorcycle show, attracting thousands Saturday afternoon.
Extreme sports star Ryan Capes was attempting to jump 300 feet as part of a motocross show.
Capes' initial jump fell a bit short at just 287 feet, so he headed back up the ramp in a second attempt.
Capes set a new ramp-to-ramp record at 316 feet.
Traffic along highway 395 slowed to watch the action.
NHP troopers, stretched thin by street vibrations, were called in to make sure everything kept moving.
