Reno police are cracking down on a local lodge that has been plagued by murders and drug activity. Sunday morning police conducted what they call a motel interdiction at the Lake-Mill Lodge.
Drug recognition and enforcement officers along with Parole and Probation are working with the interdiction team through tomorrow.
The program hopes to change the culture of the lodge by building a strong relationship with the owners and managers as well as the residents themselves.
High profile programs include those that involve crime activities like serving warrants and narcotics arrests.
Police hope the program will help improve living conditions at the lodge.
