For the next several months 35 Nevada Air national guard will be stationed in Iraq. For many of thee men and women who left Saturday morning, this is not their first tour of Iraq. However it doesn't make leaving any easier.
Sarah Vernon says she's among four women leaving today. She says she feels safe and secure, but says her family may worry.
When the group gets to Iraq, the units will be doing airlift and airdrop missions, using a C-130.
The guard says those deployed will be in Iraq two to six months. After that they'll be rotated out and it's expected another team from Nevada will be sent in.
