A rock-throwing fracas behind the Circuit City south of Reno turned into gunplay early yesterday that left three people with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Reno police say officers in the area (of Kietzke Lane and South Virginia Street) did not hear the shots, but saw people scattering and went to see what happened.
Sergeant Scott Dugan says it appears people had gathered behind the store and that led to a fight.
Officers found no one injured at the scene but three people showed up a short time later at a hospital emergency room with nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds. Dugan says two were wounded in the head and one in an arm.
He says investigators aren't calling the incident gang related at this time.
