Investigators say alcohol played a major role in a crash that killed a man on U.S. 395 near Red Rock Road.
Nevada Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Jennifer Hovey lost control of her vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed. Her car overturned on a dirt median. A right front passenger was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene. Hovey was taken to Renown Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.
The NHP says another passenger, a 16-year-old male, was also ejected. He was treated and released from Renown Medical Center.
