Nevada Senator Harry Reid ticked off a list of priorities today in his floor speech as majority leader. But he said no issue is more important to the country than finding an end to what he called "an intractable war in Iraq."
Reid says Democrats are anxious to hear a new strategy for Iraq that President Bush is expected to outline next week. The Nevada Democrat says it must ensure the Iraqi's take responsibility for their own future, and it must remove US troops from a dangerous civil war.
Reid says completing the mission in Iraq is the president's job and Senate Democrats will do everything in their power to make sure he fulfills it.
