A man and woman wanted in connection with a rape and kidnapping in Sparks have been arrested.

Joel Haddock, 23, of Carson City was charged with Kidnapping, Accessory, and False Imprisonment after being found hiding in a garage in Carson City. Haddock’s girlfriend Sarah Calvello, 27, of Carson City was arrested on charges of Conspiracy to Commit Kidnapping.

The pair had been named suspects by Sparks Police after a female was allegedly kidnapped, sexually assaulted, beaten, and held for 19 hours in a Sparks Residence.

Sparks Police located Haddock and Calvello with the assistance of the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Friday. Police are not currently looking for any other suspects in this case.

Two other suspects have already been arrested for their involvement in the case.
