One of the victims was my mother. She was without a doubt a devout Christian. She's with the Lord now. Love you mom. Miss you.
I flew up to Mammoth Friday and found this in the Mammoth Times, Question, why did they use Mammoth for a fuel stop? Altitude and tempture is a big issue in the afternoon as well as the winds. No lift and reduced engine proformance from the density altitude at that time of day. Could have been a mistake of a flat lander flying in the mountians. God rest their souls.
The plane went down about 100 feet from my cabin. My parents witnessed the accident. It clipped a tree, which caused the engine too sepparate from the plane. My dad was cleaning up after a bear invasion and heard a sputtering engine and new a plane was about to hit . He called 911 immediatly and acessed the situation.
It went down yesterday at 4:00pm no one made it. 2 passengers both died. husband is up there camping and saw the whole thing
