RENO, NV - As part of Artown, you can celebrate with a Patriotic Concert in the Park. It's at Wingfield Park from 7:30-10PM, with fireworks and the Reno Municipal Band, and it's free.
SPARKS, NV - John Ascuaga's Nugget is hosting the 14th annual Star Spangled Sparks fireworks show and 4th of July Celebration.
Complimentary shuttles will provide round-trip transportation from Legends at Sparks Marina to Victorian Square during the event. Shuttles will pick up guests in the large dirt lot between Fuddruckers and Popeye's starting at 6PM. Shuttles will run continuously throughout the event until after the fireworks show.
There will be a kids' area on Victorian Plaza, adjacent to Century Theatres, with games, a super slide and mechanical rides. Ride tickets will be available for purchase just outside the kids' area.
The fireworks show will be broadcast live with music over KKOH News Talk 780. Tune in to hear music corresponding with the fireworks.
There will be live music from the main stage (located toward the West End of Victorian Avenue) from 5:00 - 9:30PM. Nick Sorrentino will sing the National Anthem prior to the start of the fireworks show.
The Sparks Summer Heat Car Show is a new addition to this year's Star Spangled Sparks Celebration in Victorian Square. The car show will go from 9:00AM - 2:00PM. There is a $10 entry fee, and proceeds will go to the Honor Flight program, which takes local veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit war memorials.
RENO, NV - Taste the best wings at the "Biggest Little Wing Fest," set for July 4-6. There will be live music all weekend, chicken wing vendors from all over competing for cash prizes, an amateur wing-eating contest and street faire vendors.
Cookers will present their wings at "The Hen House" for "Best," "Celebrity Choice" and the ever-popular "People's Choice" awards each day. There will also be an amateur wing-eating contest.
VIRGINIA CITY, NV - Virginia City's Fourth of July Celebration, culminating with a 25-minute fireworks show set in the Comstock hills of northern Nevada, includes the Fourth of July Parade, the Red White and YOU Wine Walk, a period costumed baseball game in Miners Park where kids can swim in the newly remodeled pool, and the Comstock Cowboys Second Amendment Concert. Throughout the day, visitors can shop, ride the train, visit museums, or take in the lively atmosphere unique to historic Virginia City.
The day kicks off at 9AM with events all day, culminating in the fireworks show after dark.
TRUCKEE, CA - Truckee's July 4th parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District parking lot at the west end of town, and progresses 1-1/2 miles down Donner Pass Road into historic Truckee, ending around noon.
This year's parade theme is "Celebrating Truckee's 150 Years Since Establishment and 20 Years of Incorporation."

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA - Tahoe's Big Bang is a fireworks show over Lake Tahoe at 9:30PM. It will be at the Tahoe Keys Marina on Venice Drive East in South Lake Tahoe.
