The fourth suspect wanted in connection with the string of home burglaries in Virginia City has been found. Detectives looking for a fifth suspect.

On Friday, January 20, 2012, Washoe County Sheriff's Detectives detained Shawn Staggs, a 29 year old Sun Valley resident, wanted in connection with the burglaries. Staggs was subsequently arrested by Storey County Detectives and transported to the Storey County Jail on Burglary and Conspiracy charges.

In total, Washoe County Detectives have assisted in taking four suspects into custody: 47-year-old Daniel Garcia, 29-year-old Joseph Hager, 20-year-old Robert Allen and Staggs makes four. All men are Sun Valley residents.

The ongoing joint investigation between Washoe and Storey County Detectives is looking for a fifth suspect wanted in the case. Storey County authorities have issued an arrest warrant for 36-year-old Sun Valley man Joseph Anthony Young for Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.

Detectives seek the help from the public in locating Young. Young is believed to be in the Reno/Sparks area. Anyone with information on Young's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Detective John Edwards at 328-3326 or provide information anonymously by calling Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.

Here is something to think about! The cops only tell you what they want you to know, and still it may not be the truth. Nowhere does it mention that it was a "crooked cops" house that was burglarized, or that drugs and a lot of cash was in the safes. The main focus seems to be the weapons, not about the money.. Daniel and Joe Hager bought Harley's and an ATV, that were taken as evidence. Jake bought a truck and a car, which he got to keep. $40k for 2 Harley's and ATV, and I don't know how much for the truck and car.. With that amount of cash missing, don't you think they would have mentioned it on the news??

@Wow- Your location says SV, so does that mean you are part of the TRASH as you put it? @Anon- Now would you say the same thing if all 4 were from Reno, Sparks, Cold Springs, Stead, Lemmon Valley or even Spanish Springs? FYI there are more "meth heads" in Reno or Sparks than there are in Sun Valley!
