A court case in which Washoe County District Attorney Dick Gammick is a defendant is heading to trial.

A court case in which Washoe County District Attorney Dick Gammick is a defendant is heading to trial.
Rene Botello, a former employee with the District Attorney's office, claims he suffered backlash for reporting possible misconduct within the office to the state attorney general's office.
Court documents show Botello also claims Gammick and Deputy D.A. John Helzer interfered with his later employment.
Last Friday, a judge denied a motion to throw out the case.
