A wildfire in Pleasant Valley which burned 15 - 20 acres this evening has been contained.
The blaze, which began late this afternoon, grew from the initial four acres to 15 - 20 acres, due to gusting winds through the area according to fire fighting personnel.
Firefighters used tankers trucks, hand crews and helicopters to battle the blaze. It is estimated the effort has cost about $30,000.
Although some homes in the area were threatened, there was no evacuations. There was also no report of the injuries as a result of the fire.
Two teenaged boys who had been seen by witnesses in the area were questioned and told authroities they had seen the fire start and were trying to put the blaze out. The boys were not held and the investigation into how the fire started continues.
