Getting to the ski resorts on Tahoe's north and west shores from Reno airport just got a lot easier.
Officials today launched the North Lake Tahoe Express, which will make regular runs from the airport to various locations on Tahoe's north shore.
Just in time for the winter ski season, the express shuttle will operate from 3:30 a-m until midnight, and will include three routes.
Stops include Olympic Valley, Kings Beach, Alpine Meadows, Tahoe
City, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe Vista, Incline Village and Crystal Bay. Pick-ups and drop-offs also are available at the Truckee Train Depot and Northstar-at-Tahoe.
Fares per person are 35-dollars one-way, or 60-dollars for a
round trip. For more information, go to North Lake Tahoe Express
